Every New Camera Needs New Accessories...When I bought the new Canon Powershot G10 of course I also bought a spare battery (hate running out of juice right in the middle of a shoot), a remote trigger, and some extra memory cards. But, that wasn’t enough…
I don’t particularly like the usual camera bags since they shout “expensive camera here ? steal me!” A quick trip around the local store turned up a nice little bag that was the perfect size and had a few pockets to store the other accessories necessary.
The best thing about this bag was the price ? just over USD$ 5.00. I have no idea what it was originally intended for, but it’s perfect for the G10.
I also wanted a hand grip/strap since a lot of my work is done while traveling around. Unfortunately Canon didn’t have anything, or at least there was nothing shown in their catalog and in the couple photoshop stores I visited. So I picked-up a generic hand strap that works well for about USD$18.
The only downside is that the mounting bracket covers the battery/memory door and has to be removed everytime I take the memory card out of the camera to transfer images.
