Apple has really figured out how to make it so easy, warm, and comfortable for customers that they never want to leave the womb. The iPod/iTunes integration is brilliant, for example. Then there are little touches, like setting up the printer driver so that it uses the information from the printer to keep track of the ink, gives an alert when you are close to running out, and – this is the really sweet touch – adding a link directly to the Apple Store so that you can order replacement ink. All without having to budge from your seat in front of the screen.

Apple eNews: August 25, 2005
“Click on the alert when you see it, and Tiger shows you exactly which cartridges need replacement. In fact, click on the Supplies button, and Tiger takes you to the Apple Store and the supplies for your printer.* “

Dell started offering this a while ago and I think I ran across this in XP though of course, the link didn't work :-)
